Description
In this course you will learn the basics of TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) Portal. From setting up a project to running a fully simulated mechatronics system, there will be practical programming and engineering tasks to help you learn about challenges when handling a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) project.

The project at hand is a simulated two-way conveyor system, that could be seen as an industrial escalator for transporting packages up and down between storage levels. A full task description will be given early on and is also available for download if you would like to challenge yourself. A professional solution to the task at hand will be developed starting at zero.

Many engineering and programming topics are covered and will be discussed to the necessary depth. All contents are covered in professional ways including using the corresponding industrial and programming standards.

As there are many more topics in the context of TIA we will discuss many important things as we learn the basics. Not everything will be covered in full depth from the beginning on, but that is the right way to approach the topic for beginner and intermediate level participants.

So, if you want to learn how to do things THE RIGHT WAY, you came to the correct place!
